Economic Impact Analysis

Effectively communicate your full economic impact

Silverlode Consulting has helped hundreds of clients to fully measure and communicate the impact of their work on the communities they serve. Our studies have helped our clients to positively impact public opinion, gain governmental and other approvals, and secure funding.

We tailor our economic impact studies to individual client needs, utilize well respected methodologies, and present findings in an engaging and accessible way for diverse audiences. Most studies are conducted using IMPLAN, which is one of the most respected input-output modeling techniques. We are also able to utilize other methodologies as needed to meet the individual needs of our clients.

Silverlode has particularly deep expertise identifying and measuring the impacts associated with complex health systems such as Cleveland Clinic and University of Kansas Health System. Our broad experience also includes major research universities, transportation projects, industry associations, economic development groups, arts and entertainment events, and other entities. Published examples of our work include JumpStart, Lancaster Festival, and Ohio Craft Brewers Association.

Additionally, we provide impact analyses for real estate development projects to assist in securing approvals, entitlements, and incentives. We also conduct impact studies for government financing, grant, and incentive programs. Various performance-based funding programs require an economic impact study as part of their applications, with Silverlode having years of experience in providing studies for successful applications. Examples of current programs requiring an economic impact statement, independent economic impact analysis, or economic benefit statement, include the Ohio Transformational Mixed-Use Development Program (TMUD); the Texas Enterprise Fund (TEF); and the Texas Jobs, Energy, Technology, and Innovation Act (JETI).
